'Scena Di Direzioni Allegre'

I was intrigued by the many directions people and cars go at this site and by the graphic and signage signals. I asked myself if these directions could be more creative, more playful, and be tied to musical directions. I was also interested in creating a dramatic 'scene' where musical activities such as performances and intermissions could take place. With shapes like 'hold', 'sustain', 'crescendo', 'stacatto', 1/4, 1/2 and whole rests, I proposed to communicate directions to pedestrians and motorists such as 'stop', 'move along steadily', 'move increasingly faster', 'bounce along', 'rest a short time', 'rest a long time', and 'roll'.y cows.
